DoubleHelix , Apr 23, I got this error while working with a difficult laptop, a Fujitsu Siemens LG. If you have anything negative you could also be real nice and keep that to yourself. Not one time was it a missing file on the CD. I don't see a setupORG. Hit any key when the computer asks you to press any key to boot from the CD. If anybody knows how to fix this error without needing two xp installations, that would be great.

It is not a laptop. But from what I hear it seems to work fine. Allthough I haven't been getting that error latley I have seen a few others claiming to have had a problem with it. Back to Windows Legacy OS forum.
And again, do you have any software you can't reinstall? Thank you for helping us maintain CNET's great community.
I would suggest skipping the Mass Storage DriverPack for now, untill you get a working disk. One bizarre post at http: NET stuff integrated to the installer, and if you have a tabletPC or media preaetup.cmd option the compnents folder contains that data too.
